Dave’s inspiring vision is beautifully simple: radio should be a universal platform, a space where anyone who harbours a passion for music can shine and share their story.

Meet the Team
George Heron – Station Manager
I started in radio as a presenter for Radio Northumberland back in 2017. During COVID, I created my own radio station and began DH9 Digital and NTR Sounds.
At the same time I began my daily show, The Daily Drop and with over 1300 shows now having been aired the show is a big success with its listeners.
As a professional actor I enjoy being creative and radio allows me to sit back, play great music and enjoy entertaining my listening audience.
PulseMix is a new start for me and I hope to bring a clear and exciting station where presenters can express themselves and entertain the region with an eclectic mix of music and shows.
Dean Wears – Studio Programmer
I’m Dean and I am down to earth and occasionally down the pub (even though I don’t drink). I have been involved with community radio since I was 16, quarter of a century. I have presented various shows including breakfast, drivetime and sport to name a few.
I have also done outside broadcasts from various locations all over the North East and have a vast amount of experience in programming both on and off-air.
When I’m not programming the radio station I enjoy going to the gym, although working out what I want from the vending machine and if I have enough change can be quite challenging.
I also enjoy watching football and spending time with family and friends

Morgan Davies – Developer & Systems Administrator
I’m the person behind our website and apps – I built the site and run everything as the webmaster, created the Android app and the iOS-friendly web app, and handle all the backend systems that keep our on-demand service running smoothly.
I also manage our servers, studio systems, and all the tech that keeps everything connected and running right.
If it involves tech, I’m probably the one making it happen – and if it breaks, it’s Dave’s fault.
